While tiny was in storage, it got hit by a large truck of some kind. Fortunately there was no structural damage. Instead, the roof was torn to shreds along the edge and the edge of the deck took some of the brunt. The roof damage looks worse than it is.

Looks like the person was trying to maneuver around a corner and didn’t do it right, so the back(?) of their trailer(?) scraped along the side.
More than simple roof damage
There was some deck damage as well, which means I’ll have to cut off the damaged portion of the roof panel as well as the damaged part of the deck.
I’ll rip a plywood board to fit and nail it in. Next I’ll “underlap” a new water and ice barrier to cover the deck repair and prevent any moisture from damaging the wood.
Finally, I’ll cut some roof panel to fit and also underlap it with the undamaged panels to prevent water from seeping.
😑
At least I’m getting experience with repairing roof damage on a small scale. I’m grateful it was only along the edge and not structural, that’s for sure!
